Fantastic priests, parishioners and comunity. If you are visiting Edmond or looking for a new parish you should definetly try St John the Batptist.

I am going to school here in Oklahoma and have found that St John's is one of my favorite churches I have ever been affiliated with. I love the architecture of the church, the involvement of all the parishioners and available activities, the variety of parishioners, how friendly everyone is, and the music. The priests offer applicable homilies and there are convenient mass times. I recommend St John's if you are ever in the area.
The pictures on their website do not do the church justice, it is more contemporary but the overall feel of the church is warm and inviting.
Also, it is not located on Littler, google maps has it a little wrong. It's on the corner of Boulevard and 9th Street

The priest gave a very good homily on the topic of Devine Mercy Sunday. After Mass I found him to be very warm and caring.

I have attended Mass there and have attended a Baptism. I have felt welcomed. I am looking for a new Parish Family as my husband has passed away and I no longer drive. I rely on my son or my grandson to take me to Mass or to attend with me as I live between Edmond and Guthrie. My present Parish Home is St. Eugene's Parish in Oklahoma City. I am looking for someone or a family that currently attends Mass regularly there to allow me to join with them for transporation to and from the church. Please join me in prayer as I conduct my search.
